Team Fortress 2 now free on PC and Mac

    Just head on over to Team Fortress 2 on Steam to download and install, you will need a Steam account, however the game is now free on both the PC and Mac

    It's reasons like this, why I think Valve should make a gaming console.

    really decent of them to do that tbh! Couldn't imagine EA games really doing anything like this. I've been playing an F2P game they announced recently called Forsaken World, typical F2P MMORPG but still good :D

    EA is just the retail distributor. Valve is Steam distributor, Publisher, and Developer, so they are the ones who made the game FTP, not EA.

    I never expected this considering you can still buy the games for the PS3 / Xbox 360, the PC always had the best version... and now its free! Good times for playing LAN games with people :)
