Woohoo, I’ve been holding off installing stuff on this PC knowing I would have to format it in a week or two as the RTM would be out. Nice to finally have the official word on this.

You could get one for free, there’s a guide in the advanced members area. It takes a bit of work but if you want a legit copy for free months before Windows 7 is released to the public its worth the effot in my opinion (Y)

Its definitely a good deal but I'm not the greatest with sending proper documents and then the project on top of that. Its definitely that I don't want to but I have a feeling that it would fail miserably then just be a waste of time.

    Have faith Dark Scyth.

The computer my family uses right now has Vista on it and my Mom does not really like it too much. From what I have heard from you guys, you are much happier with Windows 7. Should I replace the Vista with 7 on the computer?

Yeah, M8, I actually liked Vista, but 7 is a much more rounded OS. I haven't heard any complaints from the kids about it either so that's good. I am SO looking forward to getting the RTM next month, I'll be upgrading 3 PC's with it.

I shall switch to 7 then. Vista frustrates the hell out of me sometimes.

Totally agree with you there, I used Vista since day one and really liked it, the only problem it really had was lack of driver support in the early days.

After using the Windows 7 RC for a few weeks then using Vista on another pc makes you realise just how much of an improvement Windows 7 is.

Can’t really say anything bad about it expect I want the RTM now, not in two weeks ;)
