Hi all, been at this for hours. I'm using a mid-2010 macbook pro to try and get my wd blue 3200bpvt to work with hddhackr. Flashing gives me the error that "reading sector 16 failed! DRQ error 0x0802" so I tried flashing manually using hex workshop through a usb enclosure. Then continued on to try and partition with hddhackr. no go. "bsy error 0x8007 Unable to create partition 0." Drive checks out fine with the wd drive checker. Its brand new. I don't know if this is relevant, but when I hit restore, change the start value to 16, and click ok, in hex workshop, nothing appears to change. Its all still just a bunch of 0s. Hoping someone can help me, this 20gb hard drive I have on the 360 isn't cutting it anymore. Cheers. edit: in case it wasn't clear, the drive is connected through saga when I'm in hddhackr and USB when in windows with hex workshop. edit 2: it works! Combines the suggestions of several different users. This is what I did if anyone wants to try it. Used disk utility on the Mac to format the wd to fat over USB. plugged drive into the sata port booted hddhackr off of flash drive using refit after selecting the drive, and specifying the hddss320.bin and the undo file, I unplugged the drive and plugged it back in. Said yes to the final step before flashing and it works!
