Amazon has officially opened up its virtual doors to those wanting to pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 just several days after a mass leak which revealed everything from the locations you'll visit to the actual ending of the game; Infinity Ward's Creative Strategist, Robert Bowling, has since stated on Twitter that only a part of the leaked information is accurate. A teaser trailer for Modern Warfare 3 was also officially released by Activision shortly after. Now it appears that we may have a date for when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be released; according to Amazon US, said date will be November 8, 2011. Also, the online retailer is now also allowing users to pre-order the title. The price given is $59.99, and the platforms listed are the usual: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. It's not known at this time if the Wii will be getting its own version like in previous installments. You can check out Amazon's page via the source. Will you be pre-ordering your copy now? Let us know. Source: Amazon US
Of course it's 59.99 and of course it's being released in November, anyone who even remotely pays attention to earlier Call of Duty releases would know this. The Wii probably won't get this as the only MW to be ported to the Wii is the first one and MW2 still hasn't been ported so slim chance on that..
