Jason Bradbury, host of FIVE's The Gadget Show, has revealed next week's episode (to air March 22) will feature a Modern Warfare 2 Challenge. The challenge will see Jason go head to head with an actual Special Forces soldier on 'The Pit' training level. There's a twist, though. Jason will be playing the game, while the soldier will be working his way through a real-life recreation of the level. Very cool replication of the Pit. I would love to have a run through the course in real life. They should have the guy doing it in real life try to break the Pit's record of 30 seconds set by Ghost. That achievement is damn near impossible to get.
If Youtube process it you can watch the actual challenge here: [ame=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZOPSNXqZ0E]YouTube - The Gadget Show - Real Life Modern Warfare 2 Level - The Pit[/ame] Alternatively its up in the Digiex Download Center, Link.
Good video there. That is a very impressive layout they have done. 35 seconds wasn't that good of a time actually. I've seen some get 29-30 while running the whole mission solo.
Well of course he was going to do better on a game. He can run and gun, soldiers aren't going to do that, their training tells them to do the opposite, automatically lock on.etc and the fact that is took no physical labor at all (though i'm just pointing out obvious things and I don't think that the soldier actually going though the course got the 5 seconds deducted for accuracy ). I agree that the 35 seconds is pretty long, I can run though it in about 23 seconds (by myself) guess i'm just good at those things as I did FNG on the first MW in about 14 seconds or so.
