Hey! I have discovered a way to use homebrew apps on a non-jtag! It really works! I added an attachment for NXE2GOD(Non-JTag). If you want me to change a con file to work without jtag, post the name of the app and maybe the download link. If you do give me a download link, try to make sure its a live package. It can be a xex package. But, I recommend live packages. They are easier for me to change.
I get a "Can't Launch NXE2GOD" Though my 360 isn't jtagged and is running the newest dashboard update.
Yeah, I was thinking that. As I believe all content has to be Microsoft Signed before it loads up or something like that. I only wish I had a jtagged 360. ;(
It's easy, the Original Microsoft Dashboard NXE is blocking everything, but hey spykam22 do you tried it on a Jtag or on a normal Box ?
Is your X360 JTAG-ged? Just because mine is, but I can't try this out (don't want to / don't need to). If yours is JTAG-ged, then it's no wonder it works for you. If it isn't, then describe what are you doing to get it working.
When I first got my xbox, my friend said " I changed this xbox". I didn't ask what he changed, so im not sure if its jtag. Everything looks normal. I'll ask him.
I would think you would know if you had a jtagged 360? In your first post you say you dont, now your saying you dont know. This will never work on an Xbox 360 that has not been jtag hacked, or hacked in some way to remove the security checks on the files it is running.
True, however no console has have had a hypervisor before the Xbox 360, that basically rules out any game save and software exploits which allowed the Xbox 1 to be hacked so easily Its not impossible (look at the old KingKong hack) however it makes it a lot lot harder to simply exploit the 360 unlike the Wii for example. The jtag hack too 4 years to be finalized and was patched many months before it was posisble to reboot in to a patched dashboard. Never say never ofcourse im just saying how hard it would be to exploit the 360 again compared to past consoles that piratically have no security compared to the 360 / PS3.
