So , i wanted to play some Halo on XLink Kai, but the app did not work. Just to find out what was going on i went to the XLink Kai Website ( Team XLink ) Then i saw this: I thing this is really sad, XLink Kai is the only working tunnel app that really works with all Computer systems ( Windows, Mac, Linux ) . Here is the text written on the front page : What do you thing ? Is Micro$oft behind this because of the Halo 4 leak ? Is some guy banned from XLink Kai & this is his revenge ? Please reply to this post & tell us what you thing ?
Isn't DDoSing illegal? I doubt Microsoft would be behind this. Xbox 360 games have leaked loads of times. Halo 4 is just 1 more for the list. I'd say an/some angry troll/trolls did it.
Yes its illegal, however the chances of them catching the person who launched the attack are very very slim. Its probably someone with something against the service, i don't think Microsoft would gain anything from it.
I'm not sure where you got this idea. X-link kai is near the bottom of good tunnelling applications. Xbslink is FAR more stable, direct peer to peer with no laggy servers in the middle. There's no added latency from other users on the same server you're connected to, because it's all direct connections. XBSlink – XBox360/PS3/PC System Link Proxy - play LAN games over the internet The next best software you could use is Leaf also called Leaf networks. The website for Leaf is down but you can still get the client from xbins. If the above two fail, you should look into PC VPN software to bridge LAN's. Failing that I'd recommend Xlink Kai after all those with it's unstable PC engine and laggy servers. With Kai off the table the very last program I could recommend for that task is XB Connect, which was never really updated for 360, and is just plain broken most of the time. So with Kai down try giving XBSlink a try, it's truly head and shoulders above everything else for console tunnelling software. All that being said, it does suck to see Kai under DDOS right now, that seems to be a revolving trend, all sorts of torrent, p2p and other game related sites have been under DDOS or have been attacked otherwise recently. Though I do doubt Microsoft has anything to do with it, I do find it odd that Kai get's even MORE laggy when each Halo game gets leaked. When Reach was leaked Kai went from being a little slow and unstable to being completely useless for playing with friends. In my experience it never recovered from the issues that spawned during the original Halo Reach leak. Seeing it happening again during a Halo 4 leak is a little suspect. In closing, ditch Kai, use XBSlink.
XBSLink does not work for me on Mac. It does run on a Mac, but with much error's. XLink Kai is the only app that really works on Mac.
Have you tried it in a VM or with a dualboot setup? I understand some people really need their mac, but there is just so much more you can do with a windows OS.
Yeah, i have a VM with Windows XP on it. I tried it with winpcap, but it didn't find my console.Even when i entered the 360 Mac adres. Well, i will try to get XBSLink to work again, fingers crossed.
