    About the game:

    Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is an upcoming action video game under development by Platinum Games and produced by Kojima Productions as part of the Metal Gear series, to be released for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 consoles during February 2013. The Xbox 360 version was cancelled in Japan. Set several years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, the story will focus on the former agent Raiden who is to be encountered by cyborg enemies while aiding in the rebuilding of an unknown country.

    Information:

    This is the demo that was included with Zone of the Enders HD Collection
    The demo needs a modified console that can run unsigned code, it will not work on a stock or flashed Xbox 360

    How To Transfer to Your Xbox 360:

    1 - Extract the demo from the rar file (WinRAR works well on Windows)
    2 - Copy to your FAT32 formatted hard drive, or FTP to the consoles internal hard drive
    3 - Load with XEX Menu or Freestyle Dashboard

    So I assume its console locked? Thats too bad..guess I`ll have to wait until its released on XBL..

    Not exactly, its just files and folders so a normal Xbox 360 will just totally ignore it.
    You need to load it with something like XEX Menu or Freestyle Dashboard, which of course means you need a Jtag / RGH Xbox 360.

    Sorry, first post wasn't correct - I asked about the demo from ZoE HD in general, not exactly one uploaded here...is it console or region locked?

    so normal consoles won't play it. thats too bad. but A+ for the effort, that was quick.

    hey!new guy here.sorry about any english erros.I have a question.can it still run the demo on a normal xbox 360 if I use Horizon to inject the demo on a config usb device.I used that program for resident evil 6 and dead or alive 5 alpha demo.plz help =´P

    No this will only run on a Jtag / RGH hacked 360, no amount of injecting / configuring usb sticks will change that.

    If you want a whole 7gb image of this demo Google: Metal.Gear.Rising.Revengeance.DEMO.iNTERNAL.XBOX360-dumpTruck (its region free)

    That will burn to a DVD-DL disc and play in a flashed console, its not something we will be uploading here however.

    Unless the demo is released as a download on Xbox Live there is no version of it at present that will work on a non modified console.

    Is there going to be an eventual release that won't involve doing things to the Xbox360 or it's not going to happen at all?

    No one knows to be honest, a demo might be released on Xbox Live closer to the games release.

    If you have Usenet or Newsgroups, then you can download the demo with this .nzb file.

    Warning: The demo is 7.9 GB big, but works on any flashed Xbox 360 once burned on a DVD Dual Layer.

    It has been confirmed that a public demo (same one) will be released in January 2013 on Xbox LIVE and PS3, so everyone will eventually have the demo without the necessity of wasting a DVD9.

    It's out now, but since it's 1.84 GB and the USB I have only allows up to 1.40 GB so I leave this to someone else.
