    my friend brought his Xbox 360 EliTE with not adapter or ethernet anyways
    i have a adapter and when i hook it up to the xbox it doesn't connect live
    it doesn't try
    and it keeps saying Ethernet not plugin
    so how do u make my wireless adapter work on his xbox so we can go online on his xbox

    Perhaps theres something wrong with the cable or you may of forgot to plugin the other side of the cord. ;)

    Ethernet cords are the most simplest thing to use. Wireless however, If you've failed to get the Ethernet going, I doubt you'll have much better luck with a wireless adapter.

    Simply plugin the USB end into the 360 on one of its 3 USB port's. Then go to network settings and configure it for your network. ;)

    Its either the Wireless is broken or that USB port is broken.

    You say "you switched the ip to me"

    You could have an IP conflict on your network if both 360's have the same IP and are on your network at the same time.

    If you manually assigned the 360 an IP address you need to enter the correct gateway and dns ip address otherwise Xbox Live is not going to work. (that will be the ip address of your router)

    Its hard to see what settings you actually have in that video, however its best to set everything to automatic for the Xbox 360.

    Is that the 360 that he got banned on? Also what is just a Code of Conduct or was is a permanent 360 live ban?
