So I have a morrowind xbox ISO from archive.org I guess the copyright has expired.
Anyways what I'm trying to do is locate where on the disc the game data is stored. Morrowind (non-goty) platinum hits xbox disc.
Long story short I have about 6 of these morrowind xbox game DVD's and 5 of them have damage near the outer edge of the disc only.
Well if you played the PC game it is 700mb and you can notice in the xbox store that the download for xbox GOTY is 900mb.
However this ISO is a full DVD9 7.8gb or whatever. So most of this must be dummy data? probably.
I opened it in ISObuster and can't read it can only read the VIDEO_TS which is probably the video that plays after you don't click start for a while.
I'm trying to figure out where the game data is located the LBA addresses, to see if these 5 discs are useable, or trash.
Sometimes I get a black screen with "the disc maybe damaged or dirty, press a to retry"
however this game is pretty buggy and I think the message may not be related to any disc error at all.
So is there a program where I can see the data of the xbox ISO and also the LBA addresses?
    Thank so much.

LBA addresses i'm not sure, however you can use Qwix to extract original Xbox ISO's. You can play the extracted ISO's from the hard drive of any modded Xbox or Jtag / RGH hacked 360 (presuming the game is backwards compatible).

You can also create an ISO with Qwix to burn on a CD / DVD to play on a modded Xbox.

thanks for suggestion, however after extraction they will lose LBA address.
Don't have a modded xbox 360 it seems too difficult, I might pay someone to do it at some point, but not now... it seems pretty difficult from the Mr. Mario videos I have watched.
just need to read the data and LBA addresses from the ISO

I have seen this before on PS2 iso's not sure why the game data doesn't show, but the DVD video data will show, and that's it, used ESR a lot.
Perhaps the DVD data like masks the ISO data

  5. if you still can't do it, search on google for "Download Game Xbox" and get it as files you can just ftp to your xbox.

If you own the DVD physically, but it's scratched, i guess it's fine to download it. It's not really piracy then

was going to make my own ISO. Put the disc in my computer dvd drive, of course it won't read it, and made a chug-chug noise, so had to DL the ISO.
seems to be a lot of stuff on archive.org perhaps the copyright has expired anyways I own many physical copies of the game.
Must be some way to read this data in ISObuster or ultraISO after all its on the disc so why can I only see the DVD video track?
I know that the same thing happens when opening a PS2 ISO that is patched with ESR
*sigh* I would only like to know if real data near outside of disc, or just dummy data as I suspect

also I do have one perfect disc, but 5 others have pretty serious marks around the outer edge.
even with the perfect disc I have got this "disc may be damaged or dirty" message once.

as said the actual game is only like 800mb. but this ISO is full 7.8gb DVD9, so most of it must be dummy data.

You need a DVD drive flashed with custom firmware to make full dumps of Xbox and Xbox 360 games: Microsoft Xbox and Xbox 360 Dumping Guide

The best drive to use is an 0800 drive from an Xbox 360.

Back in the original Xbox days modchips allowed unsigned code to be run on an Xbox, so making full 1:1 rips of Xbox games was never important at the time, as you could rip the game, play it from the hard drive or make your own ISO and burn that and it would play on any modded Xbox.

With the 360 the DVD firmware was modified to trick the console in to thinking burned games we're legit games, so you needed proper dumps of both Xbox and Xbox 360 games if you wished to play a burned disc.

Thanks, but I am aware of that, already have the ISO though, so no need to rip my xbox game.
Need to analyze the disk and see where the actual game files LBA physical location, but it is masked by UDF DVDVIDEO folder and filesystem.
You can't see any of the other files only the movie.
I guess will google some more disc analyzer softwares.

Actually with search engine, just found a thread on here (by Nutter) where it mentioned wx360 program. Tried it and it worked.
I believe sector is the same as LBA not 100% on that but they both indicate where the data is on the disc.
okay looked up dvd5 sector and there are 2,295,104
data on the morrowind ISO starts at about 1,300,000 and goes to about 1,800,000
meaning the 800mb or so of game data is physically in the middle of the disc (on first layer) as suspected
small amount of movie data was near the inside, which is simply the bethesda logo animation and idle movie.
so the rest is likely garbage dummy data and scratch near the outside wont matter
black screen "disc maybe dirty or damaged" error most likely emulation glitch or just glitch.
Maybe some other Morrowind player may find this useful. Because the error is very annoying.. meh
