I ran into a problem again not too long ago got my xbox 360 rgh modded and updated it to 2.0.17489.0 dash update, so the avatars are already fixed but I just downloaded a bunch of avatar items. the items show themselves when I check the storage but I cant equip it to my avatars because I need to install an update. so do I need to install the 2.0.17489.0 dash update, if so how do I do that?
As you already have avatar data have you tried patching the avatar items with the XUDI of your profile, someone has posted a tool / mini tutorial on that here: https://digiex.net/threads/avatarfridaypatchergui.16256/
i just finished flashing the console with the latest update kinect is working fine avatars show up but when ever i edit my avatars() that is what i have been using and it worked but every time i want to use the items when i open the props menu on the avatar editor it says i need an update because my avatar has changed
At some point avatar items got updated for newer dashboards, its possible you have older versions of the avatar item from before they got updated. Hard to really say, but that would be my guess.
You would need to download avatar items someone had already updated on Xbox Live if that is the cause of the issue
