    I'd have thought you'd be able to tell from the UNDO file? WD3200KS-00PFB0 MOBO: MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO.,LTD 790XT-G45 (MS-7388) with latest BIOS It's a 3.5" drive See 1st posting for the UNDO files.

    I went through the hddhackr flash process but with it gets to the end instead of say congratulations....etc, I get a error message "Bad/Wrong Model or number offset!" Attached is original undo.zip and post flash undo1.zip BIN files.

    Found answer to #1: power. Soldering. I have another solution: power from my PC. A 3.5" solution will be a frankenstein anyway. Still digging for #2. If I ever get a HDD patched, I'll just have to plug it into a windows box to find out.

    If this has been addressed before, I apologize. 1. What about using 3.5 in. hard drives via an extension cable? I have a pile of 3.5s around. I'd rather buy cables than buy another HDD. 3. What does a a successfully patched HDD look like to Windows systems? Usable?
