    thank you for your help ill try some other old pcs i have on hand i knew i could use an external i was just wanting to get a internal hdd working...

    i have a western digital WD5000LPVT from 2012 that im trying to turn into a internal hdd for a xbox 360 s but no matter what i do i cant get it to...
