    Did the modder give you a backup copy of the original nand before it was jtagged? You don't need it now but you might definitely need it in the future.     InsaneNutter's right. I followed his tutorial as well and applied the system updates for the avatar AFTER updating to the latest dash. It's also safe if you still haven't bridged/remove your resistors though it's highly recommemded that you do it...

    I'm in the same boat as you are dude... I've finally decided to just wait a while till there's a proper tried and tested method of updating. i mean my jtag still works perfectly and since I don't need the dashboard update, I'll just see how things turn out...
