All is well Three days with no hiccups using this drive. Full backward compatibility, and no problems with either Halo 3 or ODST, both of which gave me no end of hell when I played them originally from the DVD using the original (manu ca. 2005) HD. At one point, ODST even bricked my system...- strapmonkey

Will require a 44-pin female IDE to 22-pin sata adapter, of course, but other than that it's SOP for this delicate....cheese...procedure. Just finished updating from an original Hitachi 20 gig to a sweet, sweet 250 GB WD, er, Hitachi, I mean. HDDHACKR was a little cranky backing up my save...- strapmonkey
