    That part confuses me.
Because in the guide it says "the game will now use the title update if no hard drive is connected to the console"

It says this because normally the 360 will look in the hard drive for the TU (title update), if there isn't a hard drive in the 360 but only a flash drive it will look in the flash drive for the TU instead. So if you don't have a hard drive or a way to access your hard drive then this would be the best way to still use title updates on game.

    Ok then....

So I should just put the update on my USB plug it into my 360 with the HDD attached then just launch Fallout New Vegas?

Not quite, in order for it to use the TU you would have to have the Hard Drive unattached and then launch New Vegas. The 360 will only read title updates from a flash drive when a 360 hard drive isn't present. If you want to keep a hard drive in and still use the TU then the TU would have to be on the Hard Drive itself, not the flash drive.

    Ah ok I see now.

So any update on the USB isnt a perminate thing unless you some how have access to your 360 HDD.

I do have a Microsoft Transfer Kit so maybe Ill try that method then since it sounds more efficent

Since you have a Transfer Cable, that solution is much better. This solution is really only for people who can't access the hard drive or just don't have a hard drive.

This is actually normal. You just have to wait some time before it'll pick the program back up and show your USB. So after you try to open just wait a bit and after its done saying "(Not Responding)" it should show the contents of the flash drive. For English not being your primary language, its actually better then most people that have English as a primary language. :P

Nah, you don't have to disconnect the HD. All I've been doing for a while is loading the TU's onto a USB stick with xtaf and I just leave it connected to the 360. I don't even save my games to the USB stick. As long as it is connected it will read the TU just fine. Works for every game I've tried, installed to the HD or not.

Have you got the latest version of XTAF? earlier versions did not support injecting / extracting from the cache folder.

Yes, if you dont want to plug the flash drive in every time you will have to inject it in to the hard drive.

And no you will never see it asking you to update as you already have the update.

Hi, whenever I try to use xtaf i get an error:

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.

I am running windows 7 x64 and have no idea how to fix this error. Already tried re-downloading the program and using a different source but always the same error. Any help would be appreciated.
