While watching RDR's Short-Film (it was pretty cool to watch) I noticed washed out black which turned it to white blurry-ish, and although I tried pretty much all colour levels on the settings, is there anything I could do to fix it?

Probably better to just wait for another dashboard update that'll possibly fix it.

I do have my HDTV settings configured but still, those washed out colours remain, though, it's slightly less noticeable in a way.

Have you looked in display settings at the HDMI reference levels? (i think it is) I think you can choose three different settings in there, see if messing with that helps.

Yeah, I looked at that "HDMI Reference Levels" too but neither did it work.

Dunno why Microsoft hasn't yet fixed this problem.

HDMI is digital, you either get a picture or you dont. Its not like in the days of scart / composite / component where the picture was affected by the quality of the cable.

I have personally not noticed what your saying, i remember hearing about colors been slightly washed out however i know that was supposed to be fixed ages ago.

Yep, it was Dashboard 2.0.14717.0 that supposedly fixed it, not noticed the issue since.
