Hi everyone. I have used programs like Modio to convert an Xbox Skyrim save to a PC save, and back again for a long time and never had any issues. Now it seems that when I try to load a new modded save into my Xbox it gets stuck on the loading screen. It does not freeze, I can still exit the game with the controller, manipulate the objects in the load screen, etc. It does not want to load. Even with Horizon I am having this issue, All my normal saves load no problem, just my modded saves have this issue. What can be causing this?
Was there a recent update to the game? Or did you try to add DLC content without owning the DLC itself?
I have all 3 DLCs installed on my PC and Xbox. All copies are legit. It worked fine 2 days ago, and now it just hangs up at the load screen. I have tried everything from re installing Skyrim the the DLCs on both my PC and Xbox, did not work. Tried disabling Dragonborn and Hearthfire, did not work. Started a new save on the Xbox, transfered it to PC, and when I tried to transfer it back to Xbox same issue. Tried multiple saves, no luck. I could try to figure it out if there was an error message or something, but there isn't. This is how I convert the PC save to Xbox. Modio 1) Copy the save file I want to transfer to the Xbox from my PC to my desktop, then rename it to " Savegame.dat" 2) Open Modio, choose a file I want to copy over, then I replace it with the modded save on my desktop. 3) Hit " Rehash and resign" then save it. 4) Remove USB from PC and put it in my Xbox, load game, choose the save, then it just hangs up on load screen. Horizon. Same as above except click on " Save, rehash and resign" then remove USB.
The PC version is 1.9.29.0.8 Xbox version 1.8.159.0.7 I see, this may be the culprit. How do I get around this? And do I have to revert back to version 1.1?
The versions have to be the same. That's why your saves aren't working. You need to get rid of the 1.9 beta on your pc skyrim.
