    Hello everyone,

I recently flashed my WD BPVT 320GB drive with the corresponding 320SS.Bin file using a HEX editor, do I need to create partitions 0/2/3 before use in non-hacked Xbox Slim? I only need it to function for installing games to much like a bigger version of the thumb drive I am currently using.

I am unable to use hddhackr (freezes/does not bring up list of drives when I run it from MS-DOS USB) so if I need to create the partitions some automated way like an .exe patcher, sector dump with the partitions or if need be a manual HEX guide would be awesome.

    Any help is appreciated :)

    Other relevant info:
hddhackr does not work for me
I am using SATA to USB cable using Hex Workshop.
    HDD is a WD320BPVT un-formatted (just flashed sectors 16 -22)
    Windows 7

You need to use hddhackr. Just creating the partitions will not work in a non hacked console. The drive needs the security sector flashed to it.
