Use the Xbox 360 Data Transfer Cable, connect the hard drive from the original Xbox 360 to that.

When asked to transfer data say no, also be really careful not to confugure the drive for use in the Xbox 360. You will erase all your data and ruin the drive if you do that.

Basically on the dashboard go to system > memory and you should see the old and new drives in there, you can manually copy data from the old drive to the new drive. Be aware you cant copy installed games and the saves for certain games. The saves that cant be copied will have to be moved.

OK, thanks! I did notice that Profiles can only be moved and NOT copied, is that correct?

Kind of sucks. Would be nice so I wouldn't have compete with my for playing time with two 360's. So is there any hacks for keeping same Profile on two separate consoles?

Move a profile to a usb drive or hdd then you can copy a profile using xplorer, horizon or usbxtaf. You won't be able to have both profiles on xbox live at the same time though. You could also redownload the profile to the other console.

Thank you. I have two profiles, mine (Live) and my son's (offline). I would only use Live on my son's console to do any updates.
Will Modio work for copying the profiles?

Why don't you just sign in to live on the other console? this will create a copy of the profile so if you ever do want to sign in to live at a later date to sync achievements you can.

You could even do this on your current console, simply move the existing profile to a usb memory stick, then move it to the new console, finally sign in on live again on the old console and you have two copies of the profile.

OK, thanks! That sounds easy and convenient. So all I have to do is make a copy of my son's profile and copies of the his and my saves.
InsaneNutter and Rick, thank you so very much for all your help, I sincerely appreciate it.
