Currently, I have a pretty expensive paperweight due to an unsuccessful Insider update. At least I hope it's a software bug. When the update was available I left the console on and allowed to apply it. When I returned I was greeted with an error E101 or E106.
Because I was stupid and thought that OSU1 would help I screwed up the HDD.

I have a theory that if I could get an image of working HDD or working HDD I could be able to fix it. Would love if someone could help out to test this theory.

When a newer update than the one you are currently on is published for re installing the Xbox One OS via USB you should be able to use that to recover.

You can also try the tools here if you can take the hard drive out the console: https://github.com/Juvenal1/xboxonehdd

    Thanks, InsaneNutter!
Sadly I was in Skip-ahead alpha ring, that's why I'm searching for a different approach to speed up the process. The last version on my console is 2004.191213-0429.

Hello I'm not sure if I'm help-able but I'm stuck in a endless something went wrong loop with a E200 error.
I have replaced the standard drive with a SDHD and then with an SSD.
I have used crate xbox drive bat file rebuilt them and followed all guides I could find on this issue but still no luck.
Does anyone have a suggestion or another way I could fix this out of warranty Xbox one S?
