    UnleashX is a replacement dashboard for the Xbox, it is an alternative to the original Microsoft Dashboard.

    Arriving late to the Xbox modification scene, UnleashX has proven itself to be one of the most flexible and user friendly dashboards available. It is known for its extensive skinning capabilities, extra options, and functionality not found in most dashboards, including a text editor, screensaver, FTP client (and FTP server, though being an FTP server is a feature common to many unofficial Xbox dashboards), and gamesave browser/downloader, skin colour scheme and format menu. It is also one of the few Xbox dashboards that support game/application preview videos and preview images.

    UnleashX is one of the most active dashboards in the modification scene, with regular updates available through live update if connected to the internet. With its extensive feature list UnleashX has gained a lot of converts from traditional dashboards such as EvolutionX.

    @InsaneNutter - I'm looking to update the version of UnleashX on my OG XBOX which is hard modded with Xecutor (not sure on the exact type). Do you have any documents or guidance on how to do the update process? I'm having a hard time finding anything online so far. Still seeking!

    Actually, it was quite easy! Looked around some more and specifically in the readme.txt file of the unleashx RAR download and all I needed to do was copy over the default.xbe file and then reboot. Seems UnleashX loads the whole XBE file into memory at startup and leaves us able to do the update that way.

    Hello, I have been using the dashboard for years and recently I have a new console which causes me too many problems with the language, since my language is Spanish, I would like the titles to be in my language, I already looked for a good season on the network, apply change of eeprom, modification of eeprom, full installation of exploit to change the language to Spanish from the main dash board and it simply does not change at all, it will be that you could help me a little in it, on some occasion a console came into my hands, the Which forced the games that had multi region (Spanish) to the first select that language, then after several years of browsing, I think that in this part is the problem, can I somehow do something about it? Could it be that you have a functional version to force the Spanish language?

    I think all you should have to do is set the Xbox's language to Spanish on the Microsoft Dashboard.

    I guess if that doesn't work you could try renaming the UnleashX Spanish.xml to English.xml (or which ever language Unleash is using instead of Spanish) which should then display the dash in Spanish. Although i think from what you are saying the games you are trying to play should be in Spanish and are not?

    Maybe try using a different dashboard to rule that out if so? I used XBMC4XBOX for the dash on my Xbox.
