If you played in any official tournaments and unlocked some of those cars, you may have the keys we need to unlock the DLC items. For all I know it's on disc DLC unlocked by save files.

It most likely blew out the power supply, possibly parts of the motherboard. As long as the hard drive and eeprom is intact I could extract all your DLC. If you still have it and want to go for that I'm up for trying.

Project Gotham Racing 2 installer updated with PAL title update. This should fix problems and prevent the need for workarounds for players using PAL copies of the game. The DLC is still region free.
Updated installer with new art, music and a Content Info text file with info about the 2 DLC packs.

Special thanks to Fixified for our first new contribution for a very long time, and for #3 on my hit list for this project.

@Harcroft First, thanks so much for all of these great DLC installers!

I wanted to post about an issue I was having that I think I've solved. Some of the installers would do nothing when I clicked on the items to install. It would make a sound effect noise, but not actually install anything. It also would not properly identify when a particular DLC was already installed (would not grey the menu item). I finally traced it down to the fact that I used xbe_renamer 0.8 to rename the default.xbe on these files (for example, I wanted it to show up in UnleashX as "Halo 2 DLC" instead of "Halo 2 DLC Installer"). Upon inspecting the original xbe and modified xbe side by side, I noticed that xbe renamer overwrote the Alternate Title ID field with 00's. From what I've read online about xbe file format (http://www.caustik.com/cxbx/download/xbe.htm) the Alternate Title ID field should be irrelevant, but it appears that in this case it is not.

In looking at the original xbe for Halo 2 DLC Installer, the Title ID field is 83 00 53 4D or, byte swapped, 4D530083 (I don't find this title ID anywhere online) and the Alternate ID is 64 00 53 4D or, byte swapped, 4D530064 which is actually Halo 2's Title ID (see https://github.com/jeltaqq/Xbox-Original-GameList/blob/master/Xbox Original GameList.tsv).

If I manually fix the Alternate ID hex in my renamed xbe everything works fine again. Also, if I use cxboxtool instead of xbe_renamer to modify the xbe name, it doesn't zero out the Alternate ID and everything works fine.

    1) Just thought that might help some people who may have been facing the same issue.
    2) Wondering if you could explain how TitleID and AlternateID are used in these xbe's?

    Thanks!

I would suggest moving this to a whole new thread inside this sub forum and I'd be more than willing to help you there. I've been looking at doing something similar, so move (delete/repost) your post and we can chat about it in your own thread.

Done! https://digiex.net/threads/dlc-local-batch-installer-script.15999/ I look forward to working with you to make it a reality!
Also, please see my other post above regarding renaming the xbe title. It was waiting on mod approval so you might not have seen it.

Finally, as I was going through the DLC downloads from this thread, I encountered a few other issues that caused some of them to not install correctly for me. I've root caused the reason to the fact that these particular DLC packages have the wrong TitleID in the readme.txt file. I'm manually creating the folders on my XBOX, so when I create the folder with the wrong TitleID the DLC installer doesn't find a folder with the correct title ID and the DLC install fails. To be clear, the installers themselves actually work fine (they use the correct TitleIDs) and If I had run the actual game to cause the TDATA folder creation instead of creating the directories myself I would not have encountered these problems. So these are really nitpicks, but I figured I'd post them here in case anyone else ran into the same issues.

    1) MechAssault 2: readme says "4553006B", correct TitleID is "4D53006B"
    2) Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition: readme says "45450079", correct TitleID is "54540079"
    3) MX Superfly: readme says "545100100", correct TitleID is "54510010"
    4) Street Fighter Anniversary Collection: readme says "4D53000f", correct TitleID is "4343000f"
    5) Driv3r: readme says "49470038", correct TitleID is "49730038"

I still have a few more to test, so I'll let you know if I find any others.
Thanks again for all your work!

Thanks for the feedback. We're human too and we've made mistakes and it's always helpful when you guys find them so I can fix them.
I've made a note of all of those in my to do list. I'm working on it alphabetically still. I have about 30 installers on the list right now, but I am working my way through them.

When in doubt, ignore the readme file and use the cdx.inx. If the DLC installs fine, then the inx (ini) file is accurate.

#1 on the wish list, Alien Hominid DLC has been found, packaged and uploaded.
Special thanks to the German Original Xbox community for this contribution. Happenings like this really show off the power of this community.

    So, WHY doesn't it work?

Do some of the folders have a space character at the end of their names?

I spent a bunch of time analyzing it and discussing it with Harcroft. In the end, we couldn't figure out why the CDX Installer doesn't work for this particular DLC and finally gave up on it. However, if you take the same exact fies/folders and use my Signer here instead: https://digiex.net/threads/original-xbox-offline-batch-dlc-signer.16027 ... it works. I compared the output of both and they are binary identical, so I have no idea.

Anyways, since the content works with Signer at least we have a way to use the DLC.

Hello, can anybody help me with this PGR2 DLC, I must of tried about 100 times now and every time I press 'default.xbe the screen goes black and i just hear the hard drive doing a steady repetitive beat over and over, I left it for five mins but thought I should stop it, I have put the folder 'Project Gotham Racing 2 DLC' in just about every drive and folder there is and clicked on the 'default.xbe' that is inside the 'Project Gotham Racing 2DLC' folder and get the same repetitive clicking each time and after checking the TDATA, I can see nothing has been added. I read that the PAL version is now included and I can see that there are separate NTSC and PAL folders and i assume that if the installer loaded it would ask me which one I wanted to choose? (I am in UK with UK console and game disc). I am new to this whole thing (Softmod, FTP, etc.) and would just like to know if I am doing it right in the first place and if I am, then what is going wrong? I'm using 'Rocky5 v1.1.8'

GUIDE TO PLAY MECHASSAULT WITH MODDED DLC, GRINDER ENHANCED & EXPANDED MULTIPLAYER MOD FROM ELITE HEROES ON A PAL RGH XBOX 360 :

    1) Get yourself a copy of "legitimate" MechAssault game in extracted (folder) form. Put the game folder anywhere (internal HDD, external USB HDD or a thumb drive)

    2) Before scanning via Aurora/ Freestyle dash, make sure you hex edit the xbox.xex file found in compatibility folder located in the HDDX partition. Use Xextool program to decrypt the file first (instruction and download link: https://digiex.net/threads/xextool-6-3-download.9523/)

    3) Use Hex Editor program to open the decrypted xbox.xex file. Use search function to find Halo CE title ID which is 4D530004 and change it to MechAssault title ID which is 4D530017.

    4) Then click save. Encrypt the file using the xextool program and copy back to where it belong in the RGH. This will make MechAssault to register using Halo CE's emulator file which is xefu.xex so that the game can be played on RGH without the need to do the swap ID (default.xbe) method.

    5) Repeat the same process with the xefu.xex file but this time search for 48104E9954, change first 4 bytes to 386000FF in order to set the calls for xgetGameRegion to always NTSC (region 1 for original Xbox).

    6) OPTIONAL: You can also change your console region via xeBuildGUI_V3.4 or J-Runner program by re-flashing your nand dump which is risky but safe if you know what your are doing (CPU KEY is required, get it from dashlaunch program). This is for a better compatibility in order for the modded MechAssault DLC to work.

    7) Follow instruction on how to mod the MechAssault game folder at https://discord.com/channels/435858243798040577/790857501792665670 (install the Base Mod first then Grinder Enhanced and lastly the Expanded Multiplayer mod. Just copy paste and replace the files inside the game folder.)

    8) Make sure to install the modded DLC files (read instruction in Grinder Enhanced folder) in an empty $c folder located at HDD1 > Compatibility > Xbox1 > TDATA > 4D530017 folder.

    PLAY THE GAME!!!!

This is great content but it belongs in it's own thread. Can you repost it alongside this thread?

I definitely have all of that DLC from OXM discs. Thank you for digging it up though.
I will look at doing the Sega GT Online tournament notices soon. I've never located any actual tournament prize DLC, but I do have all the tournament notices. Full Spectrum Warrior also has it's own installer.
