Hi I have a modded xbox 360 and the camera kinect is not working when I try to put it and use it I get that the xbox needs an update when I try to update with a usb it doesnt work(nothing happens) I dont know what to do can you help me please, Thanks,
You need to use the same usb update for the dashboard version you have installed. You can also try renaming $SystemUpdate to $$ystemUpdate on the FAT32 formatted usb drive.

Xbox 360 Dashboard / System Update 2.0.16537.0 will just restore the avatars if your on 16537, never use a newer version to do this, it must be the same version.
Oh ok thanks it worked. I have another question, if I format my modded xbox 360 and try to sign in to xbox live will it work?
