It has the same checksums as the old rom according to no intros datomatic which datted the old rom back in 2017 (same case as the mew English rom replacement in the other thread which I reported)

    Untouched Download Released - 24.12.19:

Since we originally obtained the Pokemon Gen 3 Aurora Ticket Distribution, for several years some private collectors who already possessed the newly public roms said that our version of the Aurora Ticket had a chunk of data erased from the hex. None of this effected the function of usage of the distribution, as it was all miscellaneous and unused data. Not long after we obtained the Doel Deoxys distribution in September 2018, we finally were able to obtain the alleged unedited Aurora Ticket rom. The data that was erased from the public copy before it came into our possession (further proof GBA devcarts are being rewritten with these) was revealed to be leftover data of the Japanese Aurora Ticket wondercard and Japanese wonder news about the event. None of this data is usable at the moment, however leftover data in distribution software is commonly found.

Some examples you may remember being Negaiboshi / Wishing Star Jirachi hidden in the Wishmaker software, or the debug/test Pokemon hidden in some of the NDS roms. One day in the future this data may amount for something to be seen or used by the public, but for now the important aspect of this being public is that the original unedited Aurora Ticket Distribution is properly preserved along with all our other unedited Pokemon Gen 3 GBA Distributions.

    Hey Guys
I found some old Flyers from the German Pokemon Days 2005 where the Aurora Ticket was released. I dont know if there is a need in general for the flyer, since its only in german sadly, but nevertheless its something deeply connected to the event. Whats intresting about it is, that it is a complete step by step guide on what to do after you got your hands on the ticket. Its telling you how to activate the Mystery gift and how to recieve the ticket and how to solve the riddle on Deoxys' island.

If there is need for it, I would be honored to translate it for you guys. Also have a flyer about the 10ANNIV event which was the Pokemon Day a year later.

Anyway, for the sake of preserving all the information we can get our hands to on those past events I thought I'd share it here ^^

Nice share @RJRacoon! it would be great to have the flyers translated in to English if possible.

Thanks for sharing them! content like that complements these distributions well.

I would like to thank you so much for uploading these flyers! In particular, I find it funny how they went out of their way for step 4) of the Deoxys puzzle walkthrough. It's written in such an elaborate way compared to the other steps that it really stands out!

    Hi!

Just wanted to thank you for this, I have been looking for a way to get the Aurora Ticket since 2005, so 15 years...

Also I can confirm this works with an original copy of FRLG, you just get the card written in English.

I hope that sooner or later collectors who own European Aurora Ticket and Eon Ticket distribution carts will share their dumped roms with the community.

One of the old Supercard Mini SDs. Someone mentioned it should work fine with all flashcarts and I haven't had any issues with the couple of other distros I've tried, so I figured it would work fine.

Strange, is that the one where you have to use some software to prepare the rom for use on the Mini SD card? Could possibly be something the software is doing if so, such as patching save types if that's an option (as an example).

Well, what do you know. Turns out it's been so long I forgot you had to patch ROMs for it beforehand, no matter what. Ah well, all good now! Cheers for the reminder!

Glad you got it working, I thought if it worked on my ancient Flash2Advance it should work on just about anything else.

    Hi!

I just got into trying to experience as many of these events as possible. I've purchased 2 wireless adapter that are on the way in the mail, and I have a copy of emerald.
I would very much want to help getting this from to work with emerald, so I wonder if there is a Discord channel or something in relation to this forum thread?

Have anyone tried to modify the ROM to allow transfers to Emerald? I'm speaking as a developer here, and have no experience with these ROMs what so ever

Thanks for all the good work, I'm looking forward to test all the other Event ROMs that does work for Emerald, when I get the Wireless Adapters! :)

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I'm planning on running these of a EZ-Flash

This ROM works only with FRGL because it doesn't have the Wonder Card data for Emerald. Only the European one works with Emerald, but unfortunately people who own a leaked copy of the cartridge don't want to share the rom with the community.

If you want a legit Aurora Ticket Wonder Card on you Pokémon Emerald you have three chooices:

FIRST OF ALL unlock the Mystery Gift option (fill in the questionnaire found at any Poké Mart by entering the phrase LINK TOGETHER WITH ALL)

    Nintendo DS/DS lite + R4:
    • NDS Mystery Gift Tool
      • MAKE A BACKUP (if you don't have some specifical hardware like GBxCart, I suggest using GBA Backup Tool, that can be used with R4)
      • Download the tool from here and execute it with your R4 (with Emerald cart in slot-2)
      • Follow the steps on-screen
      • Talk with the postman in a Pokémon Center to redeem the Aurora Ticket
    • Mystery Gift Tool (Gen 3) 0.1f
      • Make a backup of your SAV file and import it in your PC (if you don't have some specifical hardware like GBxCart, I suggest using GBA Backup Tool, that can be used with R4).
      • Download Mystery Gift Tool (Gen 3) 0.1f from here
      • Unzip both the software and the Events folder and open WC3Tool.exe
      • Click on Load Save File and choose your dumped SAV
      • MAKE SURE that game and language are correctly detected
        • If not, click on Override Region and select the correct ones
        [IMG]
      • Click on Inject WC3
      • Go to ...\Events\Event Collection (OFFICIAL)\Aurora Ticket and choose AURORA TICKET - EMERALD - ENG_UK.wc3
      • Save your modified SAV file (DON'T FORGET the extension .sav)
      • Reinject the new SAV in your cartridge
      • Talk with the postman in a Pokémon Center to redeem the Aurora Ticket
2x GBA + 2x Wireless Adapter + GBA Flashcart (EZ Flash Omega)

You can inject a shareable version of the WC in a different SAV file on your flashcart and then share it to your original cart (the shared version is legit, so it can't be shared itself).
    • Download a ROM of Pokémon Emerald (don't ask how) and play it a little bit
    • Find the SAV file
    • Download Mystery Gift Tool (Gen 3) 0.1f from here
    • Unzip both the software and the Events folder and open WC3Tool.exe
    • Click on Load Save File and choose your new SAV file
    • MAKE SURE that game and language are correctly detected
      • If not, click on Override Region and select the correct ones
    • Click on Inject WC3
    • Go to ...\Events\Shareable Wondercards (SEMI-OFFICIAL)\Aurora Ticket and choose AURORA TICKET - EMERALD - ENG_UK.wc3
    • Save your modified SAV file (DON'T FORGET the extension .sav)
    • Copy both the ROM and the SAV file in the flashcart's SD card (in the right folders)
    • Now connect Wireless Adapters in both GBAs and start the original game in the first one and the ROM file from flashcart in the second one
    • Go to Myster Gift option in main menu
    • Share the card with the rom e receive it with the original cart (choose "from friend").
    • Talk with the postman in a Pokémon Center to redeem the Aurora Ticket

Thank you for the very detailed post!

Its funny how tiny details on how we get the Aurora Ticket rly affect the way we feel about the whole event!

Method #1 feels more like a hack, but method #2 feel as genuine as the actual distribution cart :)

I will definitely keep my eyes open on the market, and among collectors for the EU dist cart!
Thank you very much, and lets hope we get the EU cart soon! :)
