Hello, I was recently given an xbox 360 e from a friend, I am trying to update the device but its giving me a update failed message, cant process update. The status code is: 417F-4497-1780-2446-C810-1004 . I have tried updating it using a usb stick. that didnt seem to work. thank you for reading! Any information would be very helpful!!
Is the Xbox 360 Jtag / RGH hacked? (power it on with the eject button and see if Xell loads) Is the DVD drive flashed (to play backup games)? what system update are you coming from?
sorry im not well educated on any of this, wondering if you could give advice on what i should do, no to sure waht flashed means i looked it up and dont think it has been.
You have an RGH hacked Xbox 360 then, so can't just update the Xbox normally. Have a read of: Xbox 360 Jtag or RGH Hack Easy Update to Dashboard 17502 with XeBuild GUI to get some idea as to how to update an RGH hacked Xbox 360 That tutorial is a bit out of date, however the latest version of XeBuild is here xeBuild GUI 2.098 - 17559 GUI Nand Builder for Jtag / RGH Xbox 360 Consoles
I have gotten the nand flasher 360 onto the usb and when i try to run it on xbox i select dump and then click usb and choose the 3 dots, after that it says "no nand found or unsupported nand type". how do i fex this error

Do i connect the network cable to my pc? The place i currently live doesn't have a place to connect Xbox to router.
