the newest hddhackr can format the 3 partitions just follow the tutorial for opening but when it comes to hddhackr itself select your hdd and type...

try calling xbox support first and maybe they can get you a replacement drive. i dont think hddhackr will work
click on start and type "windows easy transfer" without quotes and then follow the directions
try a different hard drive,if it still gives you corrupt the games could be from a different region

try to rip a physical game to the hard drive and see if that works,clear the cache on the hard drive as well
I suggest you return the drive and tell them that original xbox games don't work.

yes and you have use this xplorer 360 60gb version for 60gb drives and then xplorer 360 extreme for 20gb drives or they will both corrupt...
you messed it up by formatting with usb cable but i think if you format the drive in windows to fat32 it should pop up in system settings unformatted
connect the 60gb harddrive to the console and format it in system settings (no usb cable)
which hard drive did you configure? if it was the 20gb hdd then you lost all of your gamesaves/profiles when you configured it.
