    Your going to have the same problem as these fake memory cards you can buy online, eventually the Xbox will try to write data to hard drive space...

    If you are saving things on the consoles internal memory that could be why, its generally advised not use the internal memory on a Jtag / RGH console.

    Nope you can't make it permanent, so just use the fast recover app if you ever totally power the PSP off by mistake.
