Red Alert 3 BETA [Download, Keys and Information]

Ok, now that the thread is cleaned up a bit, I can't seem to find my old request for files. If you guys can't find it either, these were the files I was looking for from registered beta people. LauncherSupport.dat patchw32.dll All the files in the RetailExe folder Oh, and tutut, I never did...

Red Alert 3 BETA [Download, Keys and Information]

Yes! This is what I was looking for! RA3 can STILL be booted up if you aren't online but are already registered! Now THIS, we can use. OK, the next step is to find out critical files that were altered by the installation. Let's see, the files that are most likely to have the altered code are...

Red Alert 3 BETA [Download, Keys and Information]

... So we seem to be having trouble locating outbound and inbound packets from the EA server and there connection with the RA3 beta? What if there aren't any beyond the initial contact? Could we at least try my idea of disconnecting from the internet and trying to see if the game would still...

Red Alert 3 BETA [Download, Keys and Information]

Hey, cyril? Could you do a test for me? Unplug your lan cord, or disconnect from your wireless network, and tell me if you can still boot up RA3. I want to confirm a suspicion I have. Thanks! Edit: Oh, and yes, yes it is that hard to crack the stupid serial code problem. Security coding isn't...

Red Alert 3 BETA [Download, Keys and Information]

You, sir, deserve a cookie. And a bakery. And a whole King Soopers. This is the sort of thing we've needed for the past couple days, and you finally got it to us. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER!! (with respect to hacking a game illegally because the EULA specifically forbids it... but...

Red Alert 3 BETA [Download, Keys and Information]

Working on the paul.dll is probably one of the solutions, but there's something going on with the registry as well. Isn't it possible that the registry is the lead-in to whether or not the game is registered, and, if it is not, sends a request for verification from EA? One of the users here...

Red Alert 3 BETA [Download, Keys and Information]

Um, my registry keys were mostly listings for the RA3 Beta client and installers... There is one for SecuROM, too, but I didn't REALLY go looking for them. BTW, can we get some data values for the registered Registry keys versus unregistered keys? That might be the piece of the puzzle we need...

Red Alert 3 BETA [Download, Keys and Information]

Well, that's a relief. I hope that means EA won't be trying to sue me anytime soon for turning on the launcher three times and typing in five different keys. >_> Well, then, now we have to find a way to work without the servers... Ok, doubt this will help much (as pretty much anyone with a...

Red Alert 3 BETA [Download, Keys and Information]

;) Isn't that TECHNICALLY stealing, since it is only supposed to be downloaded through FilePlanet? Anyway, I don't really care about the semantics. I want this thing cracked. I thought the keys on the front page were uploaded by legitimate users? I've seen some of the keys before on other sites...

Red Alert 3 BETA [Download, Keys and Information]

But, by your logic, wouldn't that also mean that people who stole the executable file would also be able to connect as long as the serial code was correct? That wouldn't explain why people haven't been able to play the RA3 beta yet despite the innumerable keys on the front page... which is why...

Red Alert 3 BETA [Download, Keys and Information]

How would you get the response for a legitimate key? Wouldn't that require getting someone in on this who has NOT already logged in with their key? BTW, nice job with the Wireshark sniffer.
