Peel police are seeking the public's help after a truck carrying more than 1,300 Xbox gaming consoles valued at approximately $780,000 was stolen in Mississauga Sunday morning. Police say four to five suspects dressed in dark clothing entered a trailer yard near Britannia Rd. E and Dixie Rd shortly after 4 a.m. They attacked a security guard who was subsequently dragged under a parked trailer with his hands and feet tied together. The suspects stole a 16-metre 2007 Air-Ride trailer, bearing the Ontario licence plate C11-47X and trailer identification number 55334. The trailer is black in colour, with "Trans-Send Freight Systems" in silver lettering. The security guard received minor injuries and is expected to fully recover. Investigators are warning the public to use caution if they are offered the chance to purchase a new Xbox gaming console under suspicious circumstances. Police warn that anyone found with stolen property could be charged. Now who wants to buy 1299 360’s?
I need another console, I promise not to say a thing . By the way, we only have about 1,200 left. Whoops I said it.....
I agree. I am so glad I got an Elite System with the 120 GB hard drive. It's so nice to not have to worry about having enough space on the drive.
I know, it would take ages to sell so many. You can’t exactly flood ebay with 1000+ consoles after everyone knows they just got robbed. Could open a nice Xbox 360 Cyber Cafe with all them, get some huge lans going!
That would be the best thing ever Imagine that, 1000 people playing COD4! Hahaha, you could throw a grenade and get at least 5 kills hahaha
