Ever wanted the Master Chief to fly round Blood Gulch, or a Warthog that hovers, or an assault rifle that's a flamethrower? This is 558 little PPF patches for the NTSC version of Halo: Combat Evolved, sorted by map, with a mod to match for nearly every level you can think of.
Download the Halo NTSC PPF mods
Every campaign level is covered, from Pillar of Autumn to The Maw, and every multiplayer map, Battle Creek to Wizard. The files are named map-mod.ppf, so you can see what you're getting. Not every mod exists for every map.
The good ones
dmauro made the flying Chief, the flying vehicles, the homing rockets and the one-player Warthogs, and BOLL made Wheels On Fire. The rest aren't credited.
How to use:
There's also a separate Blood Gulch flying vehicles patch, and if you'd rather edit the game's cache files yourself, try the Halo Cache Editor.

The good ones
- Master Chief flies, climbs walls, super crouches, or jumps 2x up to 25x higher, with no fall damage if you like
- Vehicles that fly, hover or go faster (three speeds), one-player Warthogs, and Wheels On Fire
- Homing rockets, bouncing plasma grenades, all weapons zoom, all projectiles doing rocket damage
- Marines become Spartans, and engineers spawn with your pistol
- Play as a Grunt, Elite, Jackal, Hunter, Engineer, Sentinel, 343 Guilty Spark or the Flood, but only on maps where that character actually appears

How to use:
- Your Xbox needs to be modded, with Halo copied to the hard drive. You're patching the map file, so the disc won't do.
- FTP the map you want to change off the Xbox from Halo's maps folder.
- Apply the PPF to it on your PC with PPF-O-Matic and copy it back.
