I'm wanting to get a 360 controler for playing games on my computer but after googling it I found just as many sites saying you do need a driver for it as ones that say you don't. Could somebody please tell me wether I do or not?

With Vista and Windows 7, its just plug in and play. Not sure with Windows XP however.

It works on Windows XP too as long as your connected to the internet so it can download drivers.

You can’t use a wireless controller with a play and charge kit on the pc, you either need to buy a wired controller or if you want a wireless one you must also buy the wireless gaming receiver.
