Reading this got me thinking you don’t really need cable or sky these days, cable in the UK is rubbish as far as I’m concerned... all the programs I would be interested in watching such as Lost, Prison Break, 24, Family Guy, The Simpsons and so on are shown on Sky One which you can’t get on cable.
I think channel Bittorrent is the only reason you need to cancel your cable, it’s nice just been able to think I want to watch the new Prison Break and Family Guy episode today, click download and go off to make a cuppa tea. When you come back from drinking your cuppa your evenings TV is downloaded with no adverts and in HD if you chose to download that copy of the episode.
Even if we had cable or sky I don’t really think I would watch it much, I prefer just to download something and watch it when I want, plus it always nice not to mess about skipping adverts every 10mins.

digitalbox or dreambox ftw.
Another reason I like channel internet is I have the new episodes of Prison Break right now to watch with no adverts in and in HD.
