The idea does look pretty awesome, however realistically i can see people stealing the drone, damaging it, or it simply crashing and causing a serious injury to someone.
As that might happen they'll most definitely place GPS trackers on it and make sure that only the customer can open the package once received, i.e, with a code / recognisable fingerprint. Oh.. there's the chance of someone replicating the fingerprint and thus far the order's stolen. It's better just to use the standard method even though it could get lost because of whatever reasons, i.e, employees steal them or are sent to the wrong destinations regardless of what says on the envelope. For this send it recorded/tracked.
