Is anybody flashing X-box 360’s in Northumberland/Newcastle area? I already have a flashed 360 but it needs updated.

If you have a FAT 360 any idea what DVD drive you have? some of the older ones are very easy to do your self.

Might be worth learning as your going to need to update again very soon, when LT+ 3.0 is released.

Dont know anyone up there personally.
 
Yeah it's an arcade with a Lite-On drive. Only problem is I don't have a serial port on my laptop.
 
Might just wait for LT+ 3.0. Could fancy having it jtaged if anyone was doing it.
 
You can get totally USB solutions for flashing with a laptop, you are looking at around £50 to get everything you need though.

Slimwadey used to sell Jtags, not sure if he still does but it might be worth getting in touch with him.
 
It was only £10 to get it flashed. By the time I spend £50 on reflashing the next gen consoles will be out. Might as well save myself the hassle if I can find somebody to do it.

I've got a guy who's willing to flash my drive when the new firmware comes out. Have I read right that I won't be able to play any previously burned games after LT+ 3.0? I only play offline and my console is never connected to live as it is already banned.

Can I get the latest games working using Horizon or 360 Revolution? So confused.
 
if you have lt+ 2.0 and never connect to live,your dae.bin might be a old version which is a good thing.can you still play xdg3 games?
 
I haven't burned any games for months until I downloaded Kinect Sports Season 2. AGBX'd it and inserted it but it said that and update needed to be applied before playing the game. Stupidly I said yes and now I get System Update Stopped and Status Code 3151-351F-B800-0F00-C000-0013 each time I start my 360 weather it's with a backup or original.

its best to wait for lt+ 3.0 & get the lastest dashboard so any future games will work without needing a update
 
Thanks again. If I can't do it myself I'll just wait for LT+ 3.0. Lastly, I have the following connectors on my laptop. Is it possible for me to flash my drive myself without spending £50?

Comes to about £70 posted so its probably worth getting it flashed for me. Will update my dashboard and get it reflashed as soon as the firmware comes out
 
Still no response from the guy to say he's ready to flash my console and still stuck on the error "System Update Stopped". Tried burning dashboard update 13604 to a CD and updating but getting the same error -same with 14699.

Does anyone know what dashboard came on Kinect Sports Season 2 or anything I can do just to get my console on in the meantime? I can't even clear my cache as I can't get past this error.

And is the eSata port on my laptop any use with something like this? I have Intel Core i5-2430M 2.40GHz processor.
 
I'm still without my xbox :( Can't get a response from that guy and can't find anyone else to do it
