I know if I say Command and Conquer, everyone will know what it is. However Starcraft (at least in my friendship groups) is not well known which is a shame. It's one of the most polished and fun RTS games out there, featuring 3 perfectly balanced races, practically unlimited maps / mini mods due to modding being supported + in-game downloader for mods.

Best of all, you can now play it for free! :) You can download the Starcraft 2 Starter Edition, play some coop and skirmish on a few maps. However, if you join a party with a full-version owner like myself suddenly your starter edition unlocks to the full edition for Multiplayer / Skirmish! :D

So basically, would anyone who's fed up with the fact CnC has been ruined / killed by EA and want to try a new RTS out feel free to post below. Kingburnzx and myself play on weekends so happy to invite you in to for some 4 v AI action! Best way to experience the only decent RTS left without spending any money (in the mean time, I suggest you try the Starter Edition anyways as for a trial game it comes with a lot of features).

I bought the game a few months back and tried adding you as a friend :) May have to go online at some point and play a few games with you. I know how much we enjoyed playing SC1 on our netbooks back in the day :D I also agree on EA ruining C&C, if you've seen the latest news on the next game (F2P but with tons of micro transactions basically making it a Facebook game) and also that new FB game that looks crap also. I didn't enjoy playing C&C4 that much as they ruined the game with movable bases and levelling up to unlock perks just like a COD game...
