Banned & Console banned for playing the Resident Evil 6 Demo early (XBL)

Yep , you heard it right. My XBL Account is banned & my Console for playing the Resident Evil 6 Demo early.
That's the only thing i played before it's release to the public ( the one ripped from Dragons Dogma ).
I have a stock Xbox 360 Elite, nothing modified.
BTW, I still have every receive for my Xbox 360 games, there is not one game i have illegally.

I thing Microsoft messed up, but i don't care anymore. I can still play Online through XLink Kai, XBSLink or XBConnect.
I also have my PS3 for Online gaming.

But let this be a warning to people for playing games before the release date !

No, i bought all new games on PS3.The last game i bought was Halo Anniversary.

And i can't acces the Xbox Forums, i get this :

It's not because of that, they honestly have no way of knowing how you were able to acquire the demo. It easily could of been a friend that brought over a flashdrive with the demo. I would make another account and ask why you're banned. To me it sounds like it's just an error as Microsoft has had that happen before.

I can't make a account, i have a console ban as well.

I would create a new live id and ask on the link Rick posted the reason why, you can create a new windows live account then just go to Xbox.com and sign in.

I don't think it has anything to do with the Dragons Dogma RE6 demo otherwise i would have been banned too, that looks like the email you get for playing pirated games before the street date. Not saying you have but i honestly dont see Microsoft banning over a demo.

It was released on here way after Dragon's Dogma hit the shelves in the NA, JP & EU, over a whole month after.

Dragon's Dogma came with a code for the RE6 demo I think & as stated a friend could of copied it to USB for you etc.

Unless it was marked with a different region code from where you are then I doubt they would know the difference & think anything of it.

Probably something else or in error.

Anyway always best to disconnect from the internet to play these things regardless.

To be honest, i don't care anymore. Most of the time i play Call of Duty on PS3 anyway. I only kept my 360 for the exclusive games like Halo, Gears of War ... which i can still play on a banned console ( even online through XLink Kai or XBSLink ).

BTW, i'm now stuck on the Beta Dashboard 2.0.16145.0
