Modern Warfare 2 Special Edition Details

Infinity Ward has made one of the coolest special edition bundles ever made. The Prestige Edition of Modern Warfare 2 will come with a pair of night vision goggles. Night vision goggles! But wait, there is more.​
​
The Prestige edition will also come with an exclusive art book, and a Call of Duty classic arcade game. The night vision goggles will be fully working and feature a custom Soap McTavish sculpted head. No price has been revealed yet but this is one special edition that seems well worth the extra money.​

Same for me.

I seen no time in my life I would ever use the gogles for fun so I'm only getting the games. Its the best collecter edition if you want the gogles.
 
I believe this will be $150USD. I can only imagine Infinity Ward getting law suits because people will try to sue them because they tried playing the game with the Night Vision Goggles on and being blinded by their TV's.:P

LOL, instead of night vision goggles they should of gave away an MP5.
 
I'll be purchasing the prestige edition!!! ;) It looks so sweet and I'm a big fan of COD MW. So COD MW2 will be amazing! Can't wait... :D
 
Agreed! A non-working MP5 that looks super realistic! That would be AWESOME! Thats too much to handle for my 15 year old mind... I think companies should do stuff like this to promote their games! Think about it, Halo did the helmet and got tons of sales for that helmet edition, I think Indiana Jones came with a Whip or a hat at one time... not sure though. It really works though :)
 
I feel the same as King. I am a huge Call of Duty MW fan and I am going to save my money for this prestige edition. Whether I need the goggles or not, it is still awesome that they come with the game and are fully functional. Can't wait!
 
So whats added on besides the goggles to c.o.d mw 2 prestige, is there maps added on or what, is it a completely different game, i myself havent really played any of the c.o.d game's, waiting 2 start from c.o.d 1, but i havent been playing xbox for a while....
 
Well this is the sequel to the first Modern Warfare. It is going to have an all new campaign (obviously) and new multiplayer maps. The multiplayer maps will also include some remakes of ones from the first Modern Warfare. This game is going to be huge and sell millions of copies.
 
I WANT THE PRESTIGE EDITION !!!!! But when some thought is put into it would be happy and more likley to get the Hardend edition (I.E. the next edition down).

Just did the exchange and if its $150 USD it will be £90.82 GBP

mt borther found out from euro gamer that people in the uk will have to pay £120 for the prestiege version but the americans will have to pay $150. that means due to the exchange rate it will be cheaper in america by £30. meaning that the brits will have to shel out more for it. how is that fair I ask you. plus the only person to suply it in the UK will be HMV.
 
Why the hell HMV. Who goes to HMV to get games. I want a game and there are two stores next to each other, GAME and HMV. Which one do I go in?
