after being a pc gamer for many months now i picked up my ps3 again and cannot for life of me want to play on it or my xbox for that matter lol the only reason i now see myself on a console would be for exclusives and nothing more and as for next gen i dont really have to upgrade seeing i have a 4K ready GPU with 3GB GDDR5
Ive gone the opposite way to you, i used to be a PC gamer because games were just better on the PC. Now i prefer the Xbox, the experience is just easier so more people can get involved and play, which is a big bonus as i usually play games with people not by myswlf. Plus i must admit i like a lot of the exclusives. I know games look / perform better on the PC, however its got to the stage where I would sooner play on the Xbox... strange one that as I never thought that would happen to me having been a PC gamer for many years. I mainly play the classics on PC now, UT 99, 2004, although i have been playing Sim City recently.
I would probably consider myself a PC gamer however I game in tandem with a PS3 and I think it goes well together. I use my PS3 for any exclusives, racing games or if a game is cheaper on PS3. However, I buy alot of AAA games on PC now when I can as they are cheaper and often look alot nicer. That and I prefer keyboard and mouse to controller in alot of cases.
I flit between the two quite often. I tend to find myself playing arcade games on the Xbox a lot, especially if I'm with friends as it's so much easier to set up a game than on a PC and any MP FPS games I play on the PC. I have actually used my 360 joy pad on the PC sometimes when I find a games controls to be dire for mouse and KB and you can't customise them (poor PC conversions). I've been like this pretty much my whole life as I had a console and also a PC from a very young age
