Below is the summary CES 2010 summerised for you lot. Good things coming this year!

With CES 2010 officially underway, Microsoft kicked off the show with their annual Keynote tonight. During the keynote, some Xbox 360 news was announced. Allow me to sum it up for you:

We now have over 39 million Xbox 360’s around the world. Since launch, over 500 million games have been sold generating 20-Billion dollars in sales.

Between Christmas and New Years, Xbox LIVE experienced it’s busiest weeks ever, welcoming a new member every second and recording over 2.2. million concurrent members online.

This Spring, the first Modern Warfare 2 content packs will be available exclusively first on Xbox LIVE.

Later this Spring, ‘Game Room’ will come to Xbox LIVE. This is a destination for the classic arcade games. You can buy once and play on both your Xbox 360 and Windows PC. A new game will be released every week. You’ll be able to invite friends through Xbox LIVE and share your custom arcade and show off your personal collection.

Project Natal is coming this Holiday 2010

39 million console sold, i wonder how many are peoples second / third consoles? still impressive all the same... that almost averages out at 10 million consoles sold a year

yeah I think I'm up op nine xbox's atm, and most of them are from people who got a second one. and not to mention all the broken ones you can still find out there.

I am on my third. Will be getting another soon for the JTAG hack. Still a few left out there that can be exploited.

I also read that they have altered the hardware in Natal. By dropping an internal chip and using software for "body part" recognition, they are hoping to cut the consumer cost by up to 15%. Lower price point and I might actually consider one.

Im savin up for a jtag xbox too. wonder if thts th reason for higher sales.

Im on my second at the moment, thats had more problems than my launch console and its 3 years newer.. strangely enough the only problem my launch console had was that it sounded like a jumbo jet. The new one i got to use on live after jtagging the launch one has had the DVD drive fail twice now... I really dont see how as it was fixed less than 2 months ago and since hacking a 250gig drive I have installed all my games.

Got another 360 on the cheap that will be jtagged at some point, its a jasper so i hope it will last.
