I feel like a really old person saying this but there isn't really anything I want / need so I'll be happy if I don't get much. I finally understand why parents were never bothered that they didn't get a lot of stuff like kids do! Anyway I'll probably ask for a printer or something, it would be really handy for me... Maybe a new DS game if there are any to keep me entertained in the launderette. Can't think of anything else right now but I'll probably have a whole list by the end of the month.
Heh great way to find out gift ideas Nimrod. Well I know for a fact I'll be getting a Blu-Ray player for Christmas (don't worry, it's not a PS£ ) so some Blu-Ray films would be nice. I'll be emailing a list of what I would like now..... Apart from that there's not much else I'm wanting/need.
To be honest I’m not that bothered A decent pair of speakers for my pc would be nice, after using the ones Nimrod loaned me over the summer my cheap little £10 pair sound a bit crap now. I wouldn’t mind a few Blue ray films as our Media Centre pc is setup perfectly now, the two I have look amazing.
Hmmm... Im wanting a decent HD TV preferably 26" but my mum and dad wont go high on the price so if anyone can recommend a 26" TV at a smallish price would be very helpfull but I also want a 16gb memory stick pro duo.
Well around £300. Its probably hard to find one for that price. I may just have to wait till birthday so they can spend more.
dabs.com - LG Electronics 26" LCD TV (26LG3000) dabs.com - Samsung 26" Widescrren Freeview LCD TV (LS26TDDSUV) dabs.com - Samsung LE26A457 26" LCD TV (LE26A457C1DXXU) dabs.com - Toshiba 263030DB 26" LCD TV (26C3030DB) It's hard to find a good 26" TV for £300, but thats the best I could do. I would go for one of the Samsung ones, (the second one in your case as it's cheaper) as they really are excellent TV's. I have a 26" Samsung and have no complaints whatsoever, and I know Trebor can vouch for that as well. Hope that helps mate.
I would recommend Samsung or Panasonic if your looking for a good brand of teally. I wouldn’t normally recommend a relatively unknown brand however check this link out: Vistron 32" HD Ready TV Digital Freeview 1366x768 1500:1 500cd/m2 10ms 16:9 2xHDMI/VGA Gloss Black **Samsung Panel** - Ebuyer it’s got a Samsung panel in it so you know you’re gonna get a good quality picture. A 32” HDTV for £300 with fantastic reviews!
Yes I can definitley vouch for Samsungs after having two (my last one went to that nutter above me ). If you don't mind the speakers located at the bottom of the TV (not side mounted like most) then go for a Samsung. To be honest I've had no trouble with the sound. InsaneNutter I know how much you like my speakers and I think Ebuyer still sell them: Logitech Z-4 2.1 Speakers With Remote Control - 40W RMS - Ebuyer. For £50 I don't think you can go wrong. If you're after speakers more aching to Nimrods old ones I'm not too sure.
wow, that tv looks awesome... im going to look into buying a new hd tv after christmas... if i can wangle any spare money from my student loan... thanks gordon, you bought my laptop, im hoping you can strech to a new tv...
Lol, ^^ My dream tv is this one: KDL-26S4000 (KDL26S4000) : TV and projectors : Sony I need to make hime get me this lol. We went into the sony shop and they had it and he loved the quality and the design and they had it for £450 but we found it in a different shop for £380-£390 so he may go for that! Hope he does.
