https://store.google.com/product/stadia_premiere_edition Seems like a pretty damn good deal to me, even just for the controller alone as it works on PC (wired) and possibly other devices. If or when it becomes possible to use it wireless, that'll be great. The Stadia service is probably going to be discontinued some time soon in the future so it makes sense why this is going for so cheap. Plus, they're like always giving Stadia trials (I've never used it as I have no interest in game streaming).
Tempting offer, I'm wondering if i'd ever make use of a Chromecast Ultra. I've a wired 360 controller and Bluetooth Xbox One controller I use on the PC, so would probably never use the controller.
I received the package today and I gotta say, I really like the controller. It's big and comfortable. The Stadia Controller is a combination of Nintendo, Xbox, and PlayStation blend into one. It works on most devices, but has to be wired. I tried it on PS3 and does work although it's very hit and miss with games on PS3. DualShock 3 vs Stadia Nearly everything is better on the Stadia Controller, except you can't open it if it were needed. About the Chromecast Ultra, it's a cool gadget for most people, but due to the fact there's no easy way to have a VPN activated while using it is a deal-breaker for me.
Forgot to mention on the comment above, CeX is buying the Chromecast Ultra for £15 cash so you kinda get the controller for only £5. P.S. I've tested it on GTA V PS3 and it sort of works, you can drive, walk, shoot, but the button mapping is all over the place. Shame really, I truly prefer Stadia over DS3. Surely there must be a way to play it wireless with a 3rd party adapter and reconfigure the buttons/triggers.
