Digiex.net Gadget

    This is a Digiex.net Gadget for windows vista.
    Simply opens Internet Explorer onto the Digiex website. Saves you a little time!

    Installation

    1. Download the file at the bottom of the thread and extract it.

    2. Open Run. Type this into it:

    %userprofile%\appdata\local\microsoft\windows sidebar\gadgets

    Then press OK.

    3. Copy and paste the file you downloaded (Not the .rar file. The file that you got when you extracted the .rar file) into the folder that apears when you click ok in step 2.

    4. Now open up your Gadgets and it should be there and now you can drag and drop it onto your desktop.

    I really like that, nice idea Saffin :D

    Would it be possible to make the image transparent? (Y) I’m not too keen on the white background, it looks a bit out of place in my opinion.
    Defiantly something I’m going to use though.

    Here is the transparent version. I had problems changing it. The image would not change when I put it onto the desktop. I don't know what I did but It should work now.

    Surely it shouldn't be too tricky to set it to just open in the default internet browser?

    Im new to making gadgets so im not to sure on it. Im working on it though... Hopefully I can do it!

    Actually this would be great if it was .png for a rocketdock icon and in something like this.
