The next Doctor who special, The Waters Of Mars, now has an air date. it will be screened on the 15 Of november. Quite why the date warrents a special I dont know But At least we now know when the thing is gonna screen. Don't get me wrong, I cant wait to see this, it just I am confused . Its Been 7 Months since the last special and I presumed the next special would be on halloween or bonfire night. Not an ordinary date like the 15th of november. It also means that we have Gone for six months with out a single episode. But in the last two months of the year we are given 3 all at once. If the BBC were gonna do that wouldnt it have made sense to show all the specials at the end of the year and not had the easter special at easter. Go figure..... anyway at least we now know when to tune in. And I am sure it will be a cracking episode.
According to its Wikipedia page, it's linked to the upcoming double episode (The End of Time) but doesn't act as the first of a three part episode like you'd think it would. I think that billing it as a "special" will be to build hype for when the next series starts more than anything else.
TY so much!! i forgot bout this. i saw the trailer like at the begining of the year and to be honest it looked awsome!
Its only classed as a special because we don’t have a proper series of doctor who this year, I had forgotten about this too… should be good! I think all the new episodes are filmed in HD as well
Well HD is a definite plus in my book. I thought the Easter special was entertaining but not all that great (like the Xmas special with Kylie). This one looked to be more promising from the trailer they showed. Can't quite figure out the release dates either but at least we should have a proper running series next year
From what i have heard on doctor who podcasts all of the specials will be show in december on BBC America. dont know when though... sorry
