Most wd 2.5 drives are compatible.

SATA3 drives are backwards comparable with SATA2, the drives will simply work at slower speeds.

It does work, one last consideration regarding this specific HDD, it goes to sleep automatically after 10 seconds of inactivity.
There is no way to remove this feature, and the disc will wear considerably fast.

This is mostly due to SATA settings under BIOS, please check if it is configured to AHCI, if so set it to IDE mode.

If you're asking if this drive works for xbox, then yes.

    hi,
My brand new WD3200LPVX is worked fine with hddhackr 1.4 and successfully flushed, however it is not recognized by XBOX 360 E, which just simply not shown up on the device list.
I've tried many times, including using different hddss.bin (120g, 250g), but none of them solved the problem.
Not sure what is causing it... Could it be a hardware compatible problem??
Can anyone give a help with this? Would be great Thanks ! :)

Undo the drive with the undo file. Format to ntfs then try the hack again.
If that doesn't work then do this.

I flashed my drive and it doesn't show in the xbox 360.
Use this tool in this thread to test/wipe the drive. Data Lifeguard Diagnostic For Western Digital Drives

I have read that that model doesn't work... Do you have jtag? If yes, this is why your Xbox reads your LVPX hard drive
