The RAR content is a .sav file. Are you sure this is an update? That file extension is usually a save-game.

Where did you download it from? its really a question for the person who uploaded it.
That person will know where the file came from on the Xbox hard drive.

INSTRUCTONS
Requirements:
XBOX Formatted USB Stick
1. Start the game and select the USB stick as the storage device.
2. Once this is done, put the USB in your PC, download and Run Modio.
3. In Modio, select “Open A Save” > USB Stick -> Don Bradman Cricket 14 -> Advanced -> Edit Package Contents -> Replace the sav file there with the one you downloaded.
4. Click Done -> Then Save Changes -> Go to General (if not already in General) -> Write to USB option.
5. Insert USB in XBOX. Start the game and when it asks for your save select your USB disk. Now it should show all real / players teams.
6. Once you confirm it works, you can copy the save file from USB to HDD, so you don’t need USB in future.
