That isn't the case though as its the 1080i/p cut scenes that consume all the data. RPG's can be extremely long and still not take that much room as they usually have fixed camera angles and not a lot of room where you can walk, with a set path even. Take Oblivion for example, that game was extremely massive, way longer then a turn based RPG could ever be. Though it was also only in 720P it rarely had any movie clips at all. Lost Odyssey on the other hand it is in 1080i/p (can't remember) but it had an insanely high amount of movie clips just like Final Fantasy XIII did. I remember just some of the teaser clips were like 1 to 2 minutes yet to download them from Xbox live it was like 200MB just for that one clip, so if you really think about it in that perspective as a video clip as small as that taking 200MB and how many movie clips there are in each of those RPG games, then its pretty easy to tell that the movie clips just consume the data and not really the gameplay/story/length/content.
1+ dude! Same here. I use a combination of IGN, Wikipedia, and about a month worth of research. Then I put together a webpage with a bunch of screenshots, copied/pasted reviews, and of course info from Wikipedia, and put it all on my Palm Tungsten T|5. When I'm out, I can pick what I want much, much faster.
Conflict: Denied Ops and Halo 3 and ODST. Denied Ops had the worst graphics and worst story, its so bad that it makes Two Worlds look good. Halo 3 I hated because the story was abrupt and shit and ODST, well do I have to explain?
Have you never done all that, got the game and found it to be really bad despite what everyone else said about the game?
Nope. Sometimes I'll pick up a game at Goodwill, but it's usually if it's a classic like Age of Empires or Ecco the Dolphin. But I did get a copy of Sega Superstars Tennis because it was bundled with an XBLA compilation disc, and it was cheaper to buy the bundle than to just buy the compilation disc. And the tennis game turned out to be pretty fun. It's no Virtua Tennis/Top Spin, but it's enjoyable So I got pleasantly surprised.
Bought it and Forza 3 in a combo pack relatively cheap. But, it's easily the worst 360 game I've ever played out of the 100+ I've owned at some point.
I actually regret buying the game, its pretty bad. Campaign and Multiplayer. The LMFAO isn't really all that needed, those are usually intended for a funny joke.
I'm the exact opposite for Mw 2, I had no interest in the game what so ever until I played it at a friends. Then I was like wow this so fantastic, everything happens at such a fast pace compared to Gears and Halo. After playing a lot of Mw2 Gears and Halo multiplayer is a bit rubbish now, its just too slow paced.
a few game's i didn't like halo 2 and up :/ loved the first halo best xbox game ever, Two worlds total crap I gave it to a friend for free and got it back the next day lol, Final Fantasy X2 hated with a passion, Just Cause 2, Deadliest Catch started the game and feel asleep shortly after the start lol, Red steel 2, im sure there are more i cant think of right now
That shouldn't matter if you bought a legit game, I thought it only had that problem with burned copy's
I would have regretted Fable 3, if I had bought it. I had it on pre-order. Amazon advertised the Villager Maker. However neither Xbox.com's nor Lionhead's would work for me. Pre-order canceled, I wisened up. If you can't even promote your game without failing, your game probably fails too. Thus I just rented it from GameFly. The game is awesome, BUT it was so rushed that you will experience at least one game-stopping bug during your play from start to finish. And at least one non-game-stopping bug. I had so many bugs I can't even remember them all, but here are some. 1) Random freeze in scene change only 30 min in (Xbox didn't crash just the game, guide menu worked to escape) 2) got stuck in the dye color menu, was casting magic in the sanctuary, had to exit game to recover. 3) Child names show up as either long numbers (25094029403) or %1 on the quest map.. 4) a certain character becomes a mute. those are just some without giving out too much spoilers.
Time Crisis Razing Storm because it makes me wanna avoid it because of IGN reviews. Yes, the game was shit although I wanted that so bad for MOVE. Even Star Wars Force Unleashed II.
Yepp everyone seems to think that it only has this problem on pirated copies, but it doesnt since mine is 100% legit.
damn that makes me not want to play it I barrowed it from a friend that bought it and installed right to the hard drive on my jatagged console and haven't even started it yet
Errrr i think you will find that if you press both LB and RB at pretty much anytime you enter Crashtime mode ... i will check which buttons or times you press to activate it but i know its got crashtime in the game, it my favourite bit of the game Slim
