I picked my Prestige Edition this morning at midnight at Gamecrazy. I have just unpacked the box and looked through the contents. I am far too excited to play this game to sleep but alas I must; have to open the store tomorrow morning . I shall wake up early and get some play time in . Anyone picked up their copies (as if I need to ask)?
got my normal copy today. but due to a cash flow problem i am not allowed to touch it till xmas. Damn the need for money lol
I don’t understand why Supermarkets are selling this game for £25ish it was supposed to retail for £5 more than most retail games yet I’ve not seen it on sale for anywhere near £45 in a lot of places!
everyone whos got the game either loves it or hates the short campaign. but they don hate the game. (unless theyre lil kids)
I want the game so badly, but I'm saving up for a new laptop. And I only have around $200 right now. ;(
The game is simply amazing. I have played campaign a bit and a few multiplayer matches. I was really surprised by the SpecOps mode, there are quite a few missions to do. You seem to get a lot of game for your buck: campaign, SpecOps, & Multiplayer. It's like 3 games for the price of one. Can't wait to spend the day playing it!

You know it’s not actually that bad, I’ve played some of it and it appears quite an interesting game. Anyone know what the mission is that might be classed as offensive so you’re given the option to skip without affecting your achievements? I want to know whats so bad about it It might actually be worth picking up if I ever feel the need for any more games, got Bayonetta and Raiden to play atm followed by L4D2 soon so im fine at the moment!
The mission that is classed as offensive is the mission where you (I will not wrap this in spoilers because anyone that wants to play the game already has) are a CIA agent undercover as a terrorist. The entire mission is you and three other terrorists massacring an entire airport of innocent civilians and police officers. It is a pretty disturbing mission.
Most of the videos of the airport level were removed by Infinity Ward before the game was released. Not sure if anyone has reposted them now that the game is out.
