Ever since I played Gears of War 2, and my mom partially throwing my 360, it has been freezing. Majority, on Gears 2 Horde Wave 20. =[ I can never get past it. Anyone wanna party up later to do it?
Anyway, It's freezing, and I need a fix.
    HELP.

btw, It's a launch console, Never got RRoD.

    Thats possible, Mikhail.

If you know how to take it apart and don't mind voiding your warranty you can clean it out properly.

    Try cleaning the CD

    Install to hard drive

None of these work and u have a warranty just send it back for a new one

I don't have a warranty on my console, it expired in March or something.

And I don't wanna pay $100.00 for a new one that is crappier than the one I have now.

Have you tried it with other games? Mine was doing this so I sent it back and got a new one, but mine was still in warrenty. Try with other games, if it still does it, make sure your power source is in an open space where plenty of air can get to it, clean your disk, clean out your disc tray by blowing it so all the dust comes out, otherwise the only other thing I can suggest is buy a new one.

EDIT: If it's out of warrenty, try opening it up and cleaning it out (only if you know how though!!).

I think that it's fair to assume that the hardware may have being damaged if someone threw it. Was the CD in the console at the time? If it was then it could have also being damaged. In any case why did she throw it?

Since it's a launch console it's day might be on it's way. If you have to get it fixed id just buy a new one. £180 for a 60gig premium console I think it is.

Do you have the game installed to the hard drive? Sounds as it may be a loading problem. If it's just freezing for 1 second and then back to normal.
