Hi there, I would like to get Halo 2 DLC working on my unmodded Xbox 360 since it has disappeared since all old Xbox Live content is gone, and from what I have read you need a modded Xbox to execute the .xbe file once you have all the files in place. My files are in place and the 360 says they are there but obviously since no .xbe file has been executed the maps wont show up. I was wondering, since what I have read is fairly old, if there is a different way to do it without modding my console? Like pasting modified files in my HDD, for example mainmenu.map, the one that allows me to see the DLC maps, I have yet to find that kind of file, and if I did I would have no idea where to put it. If modding has to be involved, I have an extra old Xbox 360 that I could use, could I simply mod that one to make it execute the files, then use a transfer cable to transfer the working dlc? If I did that, would I still get banned? Also, where would the best links in your opinion be to mod my Xbox, and a file manager to put on it so I can execute the file? I also do not want to buy the Mappack disc, since it doesn't include Tombstone or Desolation, or TU 1.5. Hopefully someone can help me get this working, I would love to play Halo 2 DLC again.

The only way to have Tombstone, Desolation and TU 1.5 on a non modified Xbox 360 is to have downloaded them before Xbox Live closed down and to have never put your hard drive in another Xbox 360 (since the maps corrupt then and you have to re download them)

What you want to do not possible without modding your Xbox 360 sadly.

You can however get an Xbox Classic and softmod that really easily, without even opening the console. That would be the easiest way to play the maps today. People still play online with Xlink Kai too.
